The Northern Vermont Wildcats are thrilled to announce that 1996 birth year goaltender, Mike Cosentino, has committed to play NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey for the King's College Monarchs for the 2017-18 season.

King's College will begin it's NCAA Division 3 Men's Ice Hockey inaugural season next year, and Cosentino will be one of the first goaltenders to ever wear a Monarchs jersey in the history of the newly formed program.

Cosentino currently skates in the winter time with the Connecticut Oilers, in the Eastern Hockey League (EHL). So far this year, he has played in 26 games for the Oilers and has accumulated a .917 save percentage with a 3.11 GAA. Before going over to the Oilers, Cosentino skated multiple years with the Philadelphia Revolution, also in the EHL.

We'd like to congratulate Mike and his family on this great accomplishment and we are excited to watch the Monarchs hit the ice this upcoming fall!
