The Northern Vermont Wildcats opened up their 2019 campaign in Hooksett, NH at the NH Jr. Monarchs Spring Classic. The program sent 4 total teams: Mite, Squirt, Peewee, and Bantam. The teams impressed many opponents and had a very successful weekend as well!

The Mite team went 4-0-0 and captured the Championship title with a tight 3-2 win over the Maine Maple Leafs!

The Squirt team went 2-2-0 and took home Silver in the tournament. The team had two dominating wins and just fell short in the Championship Game.

The Bantams cruised to a perfect record heading into the Championship Game against the Jr Cougars. The Jr Cougars went up 4-1 with 7 minutes left in the game, but the boys were determined to make a run in coming back. The squad scored 2 goals in the final 6 minutes, after pulling the goalie three different times, to cut it to 4-3 but couldn't get any closer. The team fell 4-3 in the Championship Game, but took home Silver out of 10 teams from all over the Northeastern United States.

Congratulations to all 4 teams on an awesome start to the 2019 Wildcat Season!
